So....its been a looooong time.

Wow, I didn't realize just how long it has been since we've been back. Time seems to have flown. Mary and I are getting ready to graduate (16 days and counting....) and as PA school is wrapping up I find myself reflecting a lot on my experiences. Guatemala was one of the best experiences I have ever had. It opened my eyes and heart to the people, it gave me experiences I never expected (having all of my meals cooked over an open fire), and helped me realize what things in my life are really important. Being gone for 6 weeks was hard in many ways, but I was blessed because of it.
Eric and I got engaged shortly after I returned and have recently been talking about going to Guatemala after he graduates to work for an extended period of time. I would love to be able to return and work with the people in Guatemala. Please pray for us as we consider this opportunity and try and begin talking to the appropriate people to make it happen!
